Friends of Bobby Say:
"I first was exposed to the genius of Bobby Hinds when I was training Michael Spinks, World Light Heavy Weight Champion, for what turned out to be his historic September 21, 1985, victory over then World Heavy Weight Champion Larry Holmes. Bobby introduced himself to me at one of our open training sessions during fight week in Las Vegas. We have been friends ever since. I have the utmost respect for Bobby as a person and as a great innovator of effective exericise equipment. I have used Bobby''s Lifeline equipment in the training of over 3,000 of my professional athletes in such diverse sports as boxing, NHL, NBA, NFL, professional tennis, and so many more sporting venues. Both Bobby and his equipment have never let me down."
Mackie Shilstone
One of America''s most influencial sports performance managers
"Bobby Hinds was so far ahead of the times... He was a pioneer in the rubber tubing business, and I do not mean the floats on water! His concept and development of the Power Push up was amazing, and I might add I have used it with all my clients, from world champion fighters to my many celebrites. ...An innovator not a duplicator, THAT is Bobby Hinds."
David "Scooter" Honig
Fitness consultant to fighters and stars, including LL Cool J and Leonardo DiCaprio
“The first time I met Bobby in Madison, Wisconsin, I was very impressed with his fitness level, as well as what he has accomplished in his life thus far - and my guess is he is not done yet. During my competitive years, he helped provide equipment for our speed skating team, which enabled me to train at a higher level to accomplish my goals and dreams. Thanks Bobby!”

"Modern functional physical training is rooted in highly sophisticated methods, materials and motivators recreated by innovators throughout history. Each incarnation of these spikes on the physical culture radar is fueled by the contributions of pioneers like Bobby Hinds. Bobby spent his youth immersed in American physical culture when it survived on the fringe of our society, and helped pave the road many of us now travel. From rope jumping to tubing, Bobby Hinds has tilled the soil from which we now harvest a new vision for physical training. Thanks Bobby."
Coach Ed Thomas, Ed.D.

“Bobby is one of the most energetic and passionate individuals I have ever met in the fitness business. He does things for the right reasons and is genuinely concerned about helping other people improve the quality of their lives through fitness!”

"My life’s experiences with Bobby Hinds relate back to his pre-Lifeline days. To say he is unique does not carry justice for what he has contributed to many individual’s lives throughout the world. Long before the medical world utilized tubing for rehab Bobby presented to the world an avenue for conditioning as well as rehabbing. My convictions of Bobby Hinds'' Lifeline products were confirmed in my doing infomercials promoting its use and benefits. Bobby Hinds was ahead of the times in what he created. ...He also says you owe him a lot for ''lying'' like this!"
Coach John Powless
UW-Madison Tennis and Basketball
“Bobby Hinds is known by many as an innovator and pioneer in the fitness world; but to anyone who has ever met Bobby, it''s his enthusiasm and excitement about movement that are his trademarks. I consider Bobby Hinds a friend and a peer in the fitness industry. He is never at a loss for new ideas, and he is an asset to modern fitness.”

Founder, Functional Movement Systems and Author, Athletic Body and Balance, and Movement
"Bobby Hinds'' real contribution goes beyond the amazing functional equipment he produces. Bobby''s gift is the ability to make anyone he comes across recognize and want to release their own inner athlete. As a full-time fitness guy Bobby Hinds is my inspiration, he cut the path and led the way showing that by staying true to what we do, exercising, we can sustain a full-time living, a profession and a way to work without having a job for our entire lifetimes."
Pete Estabrooks
Editor of Impact Magazine
"I have known Bobby Hinds as a patient and friend since his boxing days at the UW and have followed, used and commented on his many innovative exercise helpers. Starting with the jump rope and on to many sophisticated systems, he has always sought the physiological benefit of the item before going into production. Many of the items are simple enough for anyone to use and to carry with them on a trip or the like. He and his son are good evidence for the beneficial effect of exercising and I can testify for myself to a more limited degree. I have not seen any item duplicating the effectiveness of his hand and finger exerciser, nor could it be simpler. In addition to his "pumping iron" activities, I have enjoyed his friendship over the years, and still do."

"I’ve know Bobby Hinds for over 35 years and was first introduced to the concept of “Pumping Rubber” during my freshman year, at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, when we used the Lifeline Gym during our conditioning at the end of wrestling practice. I remember how great a workout I got using the Lifeline Gym and felt it was a vital part of my strength training. When I discovered the company that manufactured the Lifeline Gym was located in Madison, where I was attending college, I became interested in going there to see the operation and that’s where I met Bobby Hinds. From that time on I’ve been totally intrigued with his vision, creativity and limitless energy in providing easy and portable training devices based on the rubber elastic bands he pioneered. I carried the elastic bands with me whenever we went on the road for competitions so that I could easily get a resistance and cardio workout wherever I was. I continued taking the elastic bands with me throughout my competitive career, which took me to three NCAA and three World titles including a berth on the 1980 US Olympic Team. Although many years have past since I was introduced to the elastic bands, I see that Bobby Hinds is still going just as strong as the day I met him, finding new and innovative ways to utilize elastic bands in a variety of exercise modalities."
