Power Up Chin-up

You [Bobby] and your son, Jon never cease to amaze me with your creative, ingenious, ideas. Your Power up Chin up is my personal favorite, and it is fast becoming the favorite of our NCAA anational Finalist University of Maine Hockey Team.

The Chin up is a terrific multi-muscle upper body exercise and your Power up handgrips have made it even more effective. Because it loops over the top of any door in any room, it prevents body sway, isolating the muscles of the back and arms. The Power up grips are light weight, compact and fit in a jacket pocket. You'll take them with you and you'll use them. They make working out convenient.

Sincerely,

Grant Standbrook

Power Up Chin-up

The new Lifeline Power Chin up is a must have item if you are a serious chinner. One of the best upper body movements an athlete can do is the pull up or chin up. Thanks to Lifeline, you can now perform the chin-up or pull-up in your home or on the road. It is small and very portable and very user friendly. You simply place the safety bars over the edge of a secured door and you are ready. The handles have a soft pad to protect your hands against the door. You brace your forearms against the door and pull yourself up.

This movement up against the door does make the movement somewhat easier thatn a free hanging chin-up, but I enjoy it because it allows me to really max out on a set of chins. Since receiving mine, I take it to work and do various sets during the day. I honestly cannot find anything negative about the Power Up Chin up. It's very cost effective in regards to a home chin-up bar or other large chin-up stations. If you can't make it to the gym, you can perform the chin-ups right in your living room.

Make sure to add the Power Up Chin up to your arsenal.

No need to drill, screw or break anything to have a door chin up equipment. Heck I even use it on a 2 hinge door and it holds my weight 180 lbs. Doing a chin up on it is abit harder because you can't swing your body hence no momentum to assist you, making it more effective IMHO. I'm currently doing 8-10 full rep chin up with it!!!

Perfect size.

This works great. I travel a lot, and it's perfect to toss inside my luggage and do pull-ups in my hotel room. - C. Broom

Great investment!

I agree with a previous reviewer, in that without open space to "cheat" on your way up, AND with the added resistence of your hips/knees against the door, it is much more work doing pull-ups with this product, over a normal chin-up bar.

On top of that, you can take them down immediately, and put them up just as fast, without being forced to stick to one door way!

A great investment for any home gym.
