LifelineUSA Announces Sponsorship of MMA/UFC® Fighter Stefan ‘Skyscraper’ Struve
MADISON, Wis. (September 30, 2011)
LifelineUSA, a leading manufacturer of professional-grade functional fitness training equipment, announces the sponsorship of Stefan Struve, a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter and UFC® competitor. The three-fight sponsorship kicks off October 1 when Struve fights Pat Barry at UFC on Versus 6 in Washington, D.C. The highly anticipated fight pits the tallest heavy-weight (Struve) against its smallest (Barry). Struve is 6-foot-11, while Barry is 5-foot-11.
“The sponsorship of Stefan Struve aligns with the mission, values and DNA of our company,” said Jef Hinds, president and CEO of LifelineUSA. “Our company was founded in the boxing ring, so we know how to develop products for athletes who compete at the highest levels. It’s not about gimmicks or fads – it’s about real results. We make serious products for serious athletes.”
In addition to sponsoring three upcoming fights, LifelineUSA will develop a series of training videos that will be shared on LifelineUSA.com and social media channels like Facebook and YouTube. The goal is to provide free, professional-grade content for those who are interested in training like Struve and other world-class athletes.
“We see this sponsorship as much more than a branding opportunity,” Hinds said. “It’s a chance to share the physical training secrets of pro athletes with fitness consumers. MMA and Stefan Struve are a great fit for our brand and products.”
